Search results lost in offline screen

I work with 3 screens. When I use them all, i put the ‘find results’ in the 3th screen. After closing and starting desktop and only screen 1 and 2, notepad tries unnoticed to show ‘find results’ on 3th screen in stead of using 1th or 2nd screen. Is this a bug or something to live with.
