 Re: macro-writing Dear Alan Kilborn, your advice to save a macro and look into shortcuts.xml doesn’t work; there still is only the macro, which was delivered with the installation --> <Macros>
 <Macro name=“Trim Trailing Space and Save” Ctrl=“no” Alt=“yes” Shift=“yes” Key=“83”>
 <Action type=“2” message=“0” wParam=“42024” lParam=“0” sParam=“” />
 <Action type=“2” message=“0” wParam=“41006” lParam=“0” sParam=“” />
 </Macro>
 </Macros>But I would like to have a new one like ‘change ‘A’ to ‘B’’ with the Shortcut ‘Ctrl+Alt+Y’. How to do that? Thanx in advance Kurt (Austria)

 @khk-khk said in macro-writing: doesn’t work Well it doesn’t work to provide any documentation on the macro.
 But I didn’t say it would do that.I would like to have a new one like ‘change ‘A’ to ‘B’’ with the Shortcut ‘Ctrl+Alt+Y’. So you would: - bring up the Replace window by pressing Ctrl+h
- set up the parameters of your replacement: Find what = A, Replace with =B, and any other settings in the Replace window that you want
- start macro recording
- press the Replace All button (or whatever kind of replacement op meets your need)
- stop macro recording
- save macro assigning the Ctrl+Alt+y key combo to it

 there still is only the macro, which was delivered with the installation Maybe you are looking at the wrong shortcuts.xml??
