      When I want to open a file I will often filter the file choices by using a wild-card.

      For example:

      “*.csv” - To see only the CSV files

      But when I do this in Notepad++ it opens EVERY CSV file in the directory!

      This is EXTREMELY annoying. Other than that I love Notepad++.

      Does anyone know of a way to disable this?

      :)

        @Matthew-Reed105

        Experiment with changing the setting for Use new style save dialog in Settings > Preferences > Default Directory. I believe it will give you what you seek, but you may not like some of the other effects from changing it.
