in 7.6.2, I noticed a Plugin Admin, in addtion to Plugin Manager.

      What is this for?

both are doing same activity, plugins are appearing at both places, or one of the two places,

Plugin Admin’s list of plugins is not sorted, so it is easier to work with plugin manager’s sorted list.

      Thanks.

Plugin Manager = old and deprecated
Plugin Admin = new and only one which uses the new plugin directories correctly.

I had installed pythonscript through plugin manager,
should it be working correctly, or should I reinstall from plugin Admin?

if you have already moved all plugin files to the correct folder, you can keep it.
