Launching Index.php in a browser

Hello. I’m preparing a website with Notepad++. Normally you can ‘launch’ your code in a browser of your own choice. This worked well until some days ago. However, instead of showing the resulting website in the browser, it now only shows the html-code in the browser. How can I remedy this ?
