how to turn off display of CR LF at end of each line

I don’t know how I did this but while editing a SQL file, from a certain point onwards, all of the lines are displaying CR LF at the end of each line.
How do I turn this off???For my use it is unnecessary

Hi Claudia: I checked that - its turned off.
I resolved the problem by un-doing several changes, saving the file and reloading it.
The symbols disappeared.
Strange :)
BTW I have been editing the same file for 2+ hours; that is when the problem happened.
Maybe Windows memory management or ???

it has been reported that if the file is big and automatic backup is used that it might happen
that you see random carriage returns every now and then.
Maybe that is what happened to you as well.Cheers
