      Hello everyone,

I’m new here and I just thought I’d start off by saying Hi to everyone.

I’m trying to setup my Notepad++ to be able to transfer files to my Amazon ec2 instance(server). Currently I’m connecting just fine but whenever I try to create a file or transfer a file, I receive the following error message.

Whenever I try to create a file, I receive the following error in the console, “Unable to create file /var/www/html/New file”

Whenever I try to transfer a file to the remote side, I receive the following error in the console,
      “[SFTP] Host key accepted
      [SFTP] Successfully authenticated
      Upload of C:\xampp\htdocs\index.php failed”

Below are my nnftp settings that I’m using.
      IP: my server IP
      username: ec2-user
      Connection Type: SFTP
Authentication Tab --> Try private key file authentication: Enabled
Authentication Tab --> Private key file (I specified my servers .pem file here)

I’d like to add some information to my post.

I also tried setting up WinSCP to connect to my server via sFTP. When I try to transfer files, it says permission denied
