      Hello! I got this error very often while using notepad ++ (I tried with several versions). I’m using notepad ++ to work with css, html and javascript. I have a Microsoft Windows 7 Professional O.S.

        A quick Google search…

        A BadImageFormatException exception is thrown when the file image of a DLL or executable program is not valid.

        I would uninstall Notepad++ and any make sure to remove any DLLs before reinstalling.
