selected text color doesn't change

i want selected text be white. I turned off ‘smart highlighting’ and set ‘selected text foreground’ to white
but when i select text it’s still black.
Here’s the string from stylers.xml - <WidgetStyle name=“Selected text colour” styleID=“0” bgColor=“0080FF” fgColor=“FFFFFF” fontStyle=“0” />

What am i doing wrong ?
