Styles messed up!

Just installed a fresh Win 10 system and although I’ve been using Notepad++ flawlessly for 6-ish years, it’s just started to be weird.

I open a file and the commented out lines should normally be in green text, no underline.
Now they appear in Black text underlined, with what appears to be a link (you hover the curser and it changes to a hand pointing).

Then when I open up Style configurator, I haven’t changed anything, I scroll to the PHP styles, then suddenly in the background, it changes back to normal:

But then when I close Style config, and make any changes to the file, it goes back to Black underline…

Any ideas?
